Great little place with lots of selections. The Avocado Benedict with Hash Brown was fantastic. Very attentive service from Noah and just a nice staff overall!
Alyssa is a great server who kept me from burning my fingers and the mushroom swiss burger was very delicious. The service was very accommodating even though we were late for the time we had reserved. This was an excellent choice for our group. Ross was very helpful and polite.
Really good food! A couple months ago, I came here and reviewed on Google and we had an amazing waitress, Brooklyn G! She was our waitress again this time, so here's another review for her!
I wanted to take a drive, so I chose to dine here for breakfast. I chuckled when I saw the signage on the windows. Good reviews are on Google and the bad ones are on Yelp. Although the restaurant was busy, I was able to get seated quickly. I barely had a chance to browse the menu when my waitress came for my coffee order. I lost count how often she stopped by to check if my coffee needed a refill. The menu highlighted they had maple syrup, so I decided on The Parisien. Due to the size of the container, I was initially skeptical it was actual maple syrup. The Parisien is definitely a hearty meal. I liked being served the whipped butter in containers rather than having a large slab dropped on top of the bread. In hindsight, I should have ordered the french toast and a side of either the bacon or the sausage but definitely not both.
I'm so thankful that this little cafe is continuing to thrive and grow! I went back to this breakfast joint a couple days ago and got the steak skillet- perfection! It came with your choice of eggs, sautéed peppers and onions, and hash browns! It also included a buttermilk biscuit, but I opted for the fruit instead. The service was incredible! Ask for Haley and Ava on your next visit! They are the best and you will not be disappointed! The inside was super clean and they are consistently updating the interior for their new future customers!
I travel the states for performance work (Mito de Soto channel) annually and though I am not a breakfast person, I have occasionally been in need of breakfast. I cook at home and love good food and according to others a bit of a foodie... The food is really good here. The crepes are thin and crispy edges, just like my mother made. The orange juice is fresh squeezed, you know it when it has that citrus bite and the end. I was really impressed when the menu stated, "Organic Strawberries, Organic Blueberries". This was also prepared with a strawberry compote and a cream sauce that tasted light as a homemade sauce would... very impressive. One last thing... as a previous coffee roaster, their coffee (café) was NOT bitter as most are over roasted beans. The waitress was very kind and knew the menu and food details really well... when I asked, "Are the crepes thin?" She knew without hesitation. The atmosphere is like a cozy breakfast nook at home only with many smiling faces you do not know, ha, ha. The next time I am north of Dallas I WILL make the trip to Denton for a delicious crepe breakfast.
A very popular breakfast place for those people who are able to enjoy catching up with friends from the area. Eggs, hash browns and biscuits and gravy for those who have hearty appetites. Remember the last time you actually missed eating out in Denton? Count me in! Cheers, Mark F.
The Cafe has a very relaxed atmosphere! Very clean and comfortable. My wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent service! The food I had was tasty. I ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet. It was served warm and as I had ordered. My eggs were cooked perfect. The Hash browns were crispy. My meal came with an order of pancakes! They were fluffy and tasty. Served with butter and syrup!
While visiting my hometown, I wanted to try some local breakfast and all I kept hearing about was another business... But I kept coming back to the egg house café due to the wonderful reviews and pictures of delicious food. I am so glad I stuck to my gut and tried it! Conveniently located off of University Drive, this little breakfast/brunch destination is easy to find. The food was very good and the coffee was hot. An eclectic group of locals were present while we were there, so you knew that the food quality is appreciated by the entire community.
